The following below are the policies set for our business:

Returns

1. All in store and internet items that are marked regular price have up to 30 days for a cash refund. After 30 days item(s) are exchangeable only. Your sales slip is required in order to return merchandise and if not present a store credit will be issued.

2. Your purchased price will be credited back to you in which the purchase was made.

3. Please allow a minimum of 10 business days for us to receive and process your return or exchange.

4. We will not accept retuns that are shipped C.O.D.

5. All items in order to be returned must have there original tags attached.

6. Any items that need to be returned that are defective or that are due to other circumstances please contact our returns department by e-mail or by calling us @ (800)830-5446.

Special Note for Apparel & Boot Returns

1. Tom's will not accept returned boots if the soles are scuffed in any way. Please try your new boots on carpet only.

2. Apparel returns must have the original tags attached. They cannot be washed or worn.

Saddle

1. All saddles purchased have up to 10 business days to be returned for a refund.

2. Tom's asked that you wrap the stirrup leathers well on English saddles when you fit it to your horse so that you can prevent any marks on the saddles.

3. All saddles will be inspected before they leave and again upon return.

Sale & Clearance

Tom's sale & clearance items are not returnable but however we do accept exchanges on clothing and footwear.

1. Footwear exchange policy ~ we will be glad to accept exchanges on boots if they are not scuffed in any way. We do ask that you only try them on carpet.

2. Clothing exchange policy ~ We will also accept exchanges on clothing for a different size.

If we are unable to fill your exchange request, you will be issued a store credit for that amount.

Special Orders

1. A full payment is required when order is placed.

2. Any orders that are left over 30 days from notification will be returned to stock and the deposit will be issued back as a store credit.

3. All orders are considered final sales.

Layaway

1. A 20% down payment is required for all merchandise that is placed in Layaway.

2. The maximum time for items to remain in Layaway is 30days.

3. If the merchandise is not picked up by the required time your merchandise will be returned to stock and your payment will be issued as a store credit.

Other Policies

1. We do not accept Out of State checks, Out of Country checks and American Express Credit cards.

2. We do accept In State checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover credit cards, Money Orders and Cashiers checks. You may be asked to please show your Driver's License with your purchases either in store or on line.

3. All checks that are returned will be charged a $40.00 fee plus the amount of the check. All returned checks may be cleared up by Money Order, Cashiers check or by credit cards that we accept.

4. Fraudulent Orders ~ We here at Tom's reserves the right to verify suspicious orders. We also reserve the right to cancel any order based on credit card fraud.

Shipping Policies

The following below explains our shipping policies.

UPS Shipping Explanations: Most orders that are placed before 2pm EST will be shipped that same day. Please refer to the box below for estimated shipping times. Please note that Tom's does not ship packages on Saturday and Sunday or on any holidays in which we may be closed for. Any orders that are placed after 2pm EST on Friday or on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Online Shipping Calculator: When orders are placed, our online shipping calculator estimates the cost of your shipping. Please keep in mind that this is an estimate only and may not correctly reflect the cost of your shipping. If you suspect that the shipping cost is too high, please contact us and we will get you the exact shipping cost.

Oversized Packages: Certain oversized packages may require additional shipping cost. These items include, but are not limited saddles, wheel barrows and W-W items. In the event that your order falls in to our "oversized packages" category, we will contact you before shipping for confirmation of that cost.

Shipping to P.O. Boxes: Tom's cannot ship to P.O. Boxes via UPS. Please contact us for information on shipping through the Mail if a P.O. Box is your only option.

International Orders: Tom's is unable to ship international orders at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Tom's Western Store is a retailer only; we do not sell in bulk or wholesale quantities. Prices are subject to change, they will be changed on the website to reflect in store adjustments. You will be charged the price that is shown on your order. Occasionally there are mistakes made on our site. If there is a price or size that is inaccurate we will let you know the correct information as soon as we are notified or the error is found.
